WOAH! THAT'S A COOL FOX!... I said I liked wings and foxes but I've never thought of putting them together... I think you just invented, created and drew my favourite mythological creature!!! You must be psychic Laara... because I love arctic foxes!! One of my favourite animals in the world. I'd like to see the orange and yellow version as well but this blue and black version has an eerie, nightly feel to it which I like too . What do you call your new creature? I've never read tsubasa before but I like the wings... they look great! You captured the posture of the fox, thinking, pondering, curious... and you placed the wings appropriately to it as well... awesome work and thanks! It's a great birthday present! You've given me new ideas and inspiration with this drawing... thanks again! And I hope you didn't have too much trouble drawing it with your exams and all.

Oh! And I like the scribbling adn I'm glad you enjoyed colouring it. It makes the fox look like a string of lights dancing in the night... makes it look more mysterious and eerie, like it was supposed to be a figment of imagination that suddenly appeared before your eyes

Omg thats one of the best critiques ive ever gotten thank you so much Ascariel!
(im actually replying to this about 15 minutes after the fact-i was that speechless) (yes i know- me? speechless??)
and im so honored that you like it i find artic foxes adorable-all fluffy-although i want to own a fennec in the future and no it didnt mess up my exams lol i only had one exam and i could have done it with my eyes closed XD
i really need to get a camera and take pics so my evil scanner doesnt ruin things--if i get a hold of one ill try and take a pic of your fox!!!
Ill call him/her Aurora justed bases on your critique: "It makes the fox look like a string of lights dancing in the night" im glad you liked the wings--i try to place them on the shoulderblades of the creature-when people put them on the animals neck i can see the poor thing trying to fly and suffocating itself >.> plus there is a muscle conflict there ...Eeek im rambling XD

thanks mitch! and i hope you got all that stuff sorted and your feeling much better now... awesome name Laara! I like it... Aurora... a name that resonates with the Arctic. I'm glad your exams where fine haha... i wish I had exams i could do with my eyes closed Woah... that Fennec has big ears! I'll own an Arctic Fox and you can own a Fennec haha... and they can be bestfriends Oh and I am happy, surprised and stunned that you were speechless... it's not very often that I make someone speechless. It was a great picture and now i want to own a winged arctic fox (even if just in a game or in some distant daydream!) Your right about the wings... some people put them on the necks which is not anatomically correct at all... its the shoulder blades that form wings. And yeah muscle conflict lol, don't worry your not rambling... its quite a smart way to look at art... same way Michelangelo and the great artists thought. ... if you want to make imagination fact... gotta keep them realistic at least

lol you can actually own a fennec- they can act like a cat--although they are somewhat higher maintance- if you put them outside you need a tall fence and one thats a decent ways underground too as fennecs are burrowing creatures they are so pretty
i think ill upload another pic and stick it in my "art" thread---
and im delighted that you like the name
and i really was speechless-that comment made my day
