The Scanner Strikes Again! Bleh last Friday I wasnt feeling too up to the weather during one of my classes so i opted to spend the majority of the day in the office. Needless to say that even in that miserable state I was bored stiff. Lucky I keep my handy dandy sketch pad with me (its a mini) so I took that out. Lately I have really been into doodling winged orbs-for no appearent reason. I liked this so I decided to upload it. I must say that www.crouching-kitty.deviantart.com has had an effect on me. She does lovely drawings in all pen and I have been dabbling in using pen only for a little bit now. Red pen (blame the scanner for the odd color) and sketch paper (for the record this is NOT affiliated with the Snitch from Harry Potter)

You should really enter these drawings in some kind of contest. Your drawings are unique and yet, their very simple and artistic.
I'm sure you'd win some kind of contest..

no art is "perfect", nor will it ever be.
Still, your drawings are one of the best I've seen, and I'm not just saying that.

yes--if you angle the pen and apply light pressure you can get this kind of "dying pen" effect which is how i got some of the lighter tones--you just have to go slow and blend as best as you can-layer things up and whatnot

Need some water? Didn't mean for you to faint. (~.~)
Woah! Mitch is university too! Good on him! Do they take your pictures from school so you can't take it home? Maybe you should steal your own paintings! *dumm dumm dumm! -mission impossible-*
The real world? It's weird... very different, very independent... gotta do things yourself!
Well... got heaps of reading to do already so signing out!
